Tips for Using Facebook Groups

I have been a part of many Facebook groups in my time on Facebook, of many different types. Let me share with you some of my top tips for actually engaging with your Facebook groups.

  • Only join groups that are highly interesting to you; if you join a bunch, you tend to get disinterested quickly.
  • If you are asked questions to join, answer as honestly as you can.
  • Ask questions to learn, share resources to help, and give good feedback for those asking for advice or help.
  • Peruse the group about once a week for new information or opportunities, or less if you don’t have time to do that.
  • Pin your most used groups to the top of your shortcuts menu on your Facebook for quick and easy access.
  • Find a post that you would love to read but don’t have the time right away? Save the post for later to read when you have time.
Sharing is caring!
